These drawings were done in 2009. It was during the dry period between graduation and my first job with Rhythm & Hues.

Had a lot of fun with the Marine, with authentic battle damage! (imitating Po from Kungfu Panda)

The Grim Reaper was done for my nephew as a gift. I didn't scan it because I did not have a scanner at the time. I only had a camera. Plus I gave the drawing to him. Probably one of my favourites.

Welcome to my blog, MockeryWorks! The name is weird but has a significant meaning to me. It's personal, so let's leave it at that.

A little about myself. I am a student of animation from The One Academy Communication Design, Malaysia, majoring in Digital Animation. After graduating in 2009, I worked as a Matchmove Artist in Rhythm & Hues, Malaysia from 2010 to mid 2011. There I worked on a couple of movies such as X-Men: First Class, and Hop. I then moved to Melbourne, Australia, and here I am today.

This is sounding like a cover letter. So, moving on...

The purpose of this blog is to have a more accessible site to showcase some of my more "alternative" works, but also for my normal artworks. Drawings will first be uploaded by date, but only initially as I plan to get more old drawings scanned and uploaded.

First drawing above was done for a college assignment back in 2008. My artworks starts from college days.
